We are well into the summer of 2022 and whenever our team can we always encourage our customers to plan ahead. As our organizational customers use holidays to reach out or recognize I looked up what is coming up. The next holiday in the United States is on September 5th. Labor Day often a signal that summer is over, but it is more than that. Here is what I saw on google about Labor Day.
What is Labor Day and why do we celebrate it?
Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers and is traditionally observed on the first Monday in September. It was created by the labor movement in the late 19th century and became a federal holiday in 1894.
Here I want to remind readers to remember others that support you and your organization and where possible show them your gratitude. Our company can help if you want to express thanks, appreciation or recognition to an individual or a group of individuals.
Here are some ideas to consider:
- A handwritten note
- Flowers or a tasty treat
- A special gift that can be used in the office or home
- A picture frame
Of course, you never have to wait for a holiday or when I get to it to do something simple but if this appreciation is significant you may want to plan in advance and even invite others to witness the celebration.
